A program for preparation for the International Baccalaureate Diploma
In our IB Tutorial College, we offer courses specifically designed for students who choose the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) Programme as an alternative to the traditional Abitur. The International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) is internationally recognized, ensuring that students are well-prepared and able to pursue university studies anywhere in the world.
Our IB courses consist of a balanced combination of small group lessons with a maximum of 5 students and private lessons. This creates an individualized learning atmosphere where each student can reach their full potential.
The IB program has a highly rigorous level. At s·a·e·s, I learned what it's all about and how to successfully complete my exams. That was the best course!

Course Concept
The expected level of achievement and the broad range of topics covered in the IB Diploma pose a challenge for students. We have a detailed understanding of the requirements of the IB program. Therefore, we provide targeted training and support to develop our students' skills, with expertise and specially trained teachers imparting important content and concepts to them.
Our IB Tutorial College in Oxford offers three IB programs:
IB – Language-Based
The language-based IB Study Program is designed for students who are already enrolled in the IB program. In this course, they receive targeted support in expanding their English language skills while also deepening their knowledge in selected subjects. There are 16 group lessons spread across four days a week, with Wednesdays reserved for exams under test conditions. During these lessons, the main focus is on key skills for text analysis, essay writing, and exam strategies. Weaknesses can be identified and strengths can be fostered. The group lessons are complemented by 14 private lessons, where students are taught in their chosen IB subjects at Higher Level or Standard Level. The goal is to fill gaps in knowledge and explore upcoming subject areas.
IB – Science-Based
The science-based IB Study Program is designed for students in the IB program who have strong language skills but want to solidify or deepen their knowledge in IB subjects. The main focus of this course is primarily on the natural sciences, but other subjects such as history, economics, music, or languages can also be covered. In 16 group lessons spread across four days a week, students are primarily prepared for the subjects of biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Exams under test conditions take place on Wednesdays. All subjects can be taken at either Higher Level or Standard Level. The 14 private lessons are tailored to the individual needs of the student. Here, our students reinforce their learning either in the natural sciences or in other subject areas.
IB – Revision Programme
The IB Revision Programme has been specifically designed by us to prepare students optimally for the final exams in May. In 16 group lessons and 14 private lessons, students can review all curriculum-relevant topics. The group lessons take place weekly on four days, with Wednesdays reserved for exams under test conditions. These exams focus on subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Students can choose between Higher Level or Standard Level instruction. In addition to the group lessons, students can deepen their knowledge in the natural sciences during the private lessons. If necessary, other subjects such as history, economics, music, or languages are also available for selection.
